We are looking for at least
100 friends 🙂
Trauma often causes loneliness and isolation, while connection is precisely what you need to recover. That is why, with Traumanet, we are building a platform and community that sees people with trauma and their loved ones and offers support.Â
To be able to keep doing that, we need friends. Because thanks to our friends, we can continue to organize accessible events and gatherings in 2026 as well, and grow our platform with reliable information and relatable stories that contribute to greater resilience, healing, and recovery.
Become one of our more than 100 friends
Together we will ensure more knowledge, understanding, and support for people with trauma and their loved ones.
You become our friend with a contribution starting at €100. We are looking for various friends, and are equally happy with every friend. Your friendship helps us help others, and we are happy to give something in return for that 🙂
At the bottom of this page you will find a FAQ with frequently asked questions. If you click in the menu below, you will see what type of friends we are looking for and what our friend services entail.Â

Become a friend for a single time or for multiple years
You can support us with a one-time donation, but you can also choose to become a supporter for a longer period of time. If you commit your contribution for a minimum of five years, your entire donation can be tax-deductible. This can be attractive to you and gives us more certainty to build greater knowledge, understanding, and support for people with trauma and their loved ones.Â
You can read more about this in the FAQ on the deductibility of donations.
Listing on our platform
We like to feature our friends on our platform. If you're up for that as well, we'd be happy to do so. Optionally also with your company logo. Curious about who our friends are? Check them out here.Â

Friends FAQ
Where does the friend money go?
When you become a friend of Traumanet, you help us provide more knowledge, understanding, and support to people with trauma and their loved ones. Your contribution makes it possible to keep our services accessible and affordable.
The referral bonus goes to:
- Keeping the costs of meetings and events low, such as Christmas brunch and our congresses, so that everyone can participate.
- Expanding personal stories including photography, which provide recognition, perspective, and hope.
- The work of our editorial team, which develops articles, resources, and reliable information.
- The technical maintenance of the platform, hosting, and licensing costs to keep Traumanet secure and up-to-date.
- Expense allowances for volunteers, so that they can continue to provide their efforts without it costing them money.
- Research with our own Traumanet Panel, with which we continue to learn what people with trauma and loved ones truly need and can tailor our offerings accordingly.
Is my contribution tax deductible?
Yes, under certain conditions. Traumanet is a public benefit organization (ANBI) recognized foundation. This means that a donation to us may be tax-deductible from your income tax.
One-time donation
If you make a one-time donation, it is sometimes tax-deductible. A threshold applies: you can only deduct the portion of your donations that exceeds % of your aggregate income (with a minimum and maximum amount). If you fall below that threshold, a one-time gift usually does not provide any tax advantage. On the website of the Tax and Customs Administration you can find more information about this here.
Periodic donation (minimum 5 years)
If you commit your donation for at least five years through a periodic gift agreement, your entire donation is tax-deductible. You do not need to take the threshold into account and may include the full amount in your tax return, as long as you donate the same amount every year. Would you like to make a periodic donation or are you considering it? Then please contact our general director Frank Bonekamp. He is happy to help you further.
No counterpart
A gift remains a gift only when you receive nothing in return for it. That means, unfortunately, we cannot offer a favor in return as part of your donation. Therefore, in the donation form, you can indicate that you are waiving your favor in return. You will get our eternal gratitude for it, and of course we will keep you informed annually about what we make possible with your support.
Do you have questions or would you like to make periodic donations? Let Frank rest assured. He is happy to help you think things through.
How long have I been a friend?
You are a friend for 2026. At the end of that year, you will receive a message asking if you want to renew. We would love that, of course, but don't feel any obligation whatsoever!
Would you like to enter into a longer-term friendship with us? When you support us with a donation for a minimum of 5 years and we record this together in an agreement, your donation can be fully tax-deductible. Please contact Frank.Â
Can I contribute anonymously?
You can certainly contribute without your name being visible anywhere on the site. For the payment itself, we do need to process a few basic details, such as your name and email address. This is necessary for administration and to process your payment.
Furthermore, your contribution can remain completely invisible to others.Â
How are the exclusive webinars offered?
We are organizing two exclusive webinars: one in the spring and one in the autumn. As a friend of Traumanet, you will automatically receive an invitation by email with the date, the program, and the link to join.
How do I receive my favor?
As soon as you have become a friend, we will contact you shortly. Together we will see which favor belongs to your chosen package and how we can best fulfill it.
Whether it is your logo for Traumanet.nl, an in-company training, or another return favor: we make sure it is all properly arranged. Exactly the way friends do for each other.
Can I receive an invoice for my donation?
Sure! Send an email with the invoice details and your chosen package to [email protected] and we will send you the invoice as soon as possible.
